You can delete your Girard account and your personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1: In the app
- Sign in to Girard.
- Open the menu and go to Data & privacy.
- Choose Delete my data, and confirm.
Option 2: By request
Email privacy@girardpropertylimited.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account and associated personal data.
What is deleted
We delete your account profile and personal data, including your name, email address, and the listings, applications, enquiries and messages associated with your account.
What we may keep, and for how long
We may retain a limited record of completed transactions and payments where we are required to for legal, tax or accounting reasons. These records are kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider, Paystack, and are not stored by us.
How long it takes
Requests are actioned within 30 days.
